Scotty's Lakeside Resort

This place was so wonderful, I can’t wait to go back. You can tell it has been around for a while but I was surprised at how clean and well maintained the room was. I had a Center Double Front of the Building and it was perfect location. The pool was warm and had plenty of seats. There were a lot of people but it didn’t feel crowded. The beach was nice, the water was too cold to swim but my daughter loved to build sand castles and chase the ducks.

Three college friends and I go away every year for a long weekend, for the last 30 years. This year we picked Lake George, and one of us found Scotty's online. It was great. A beautiful location right on the lake with a lovely, large swimming pool. We came after the summer season so the restaurant was closed and they were no longer renting kayaks and things, but we knew that before arriving. We did take advantage of the pool on the last day it was heated. The weather was perfect and we made good use of all the lakeside furniture, including the fire pits at night. There was no shortage of things to do in the daytime and it all added up to a perfect weekend.

Great location on a beautiful beach. Great pool & above and beyond customer service. I accidentally left my new kindle behind and the very kind front desk staff mailed it to me the next week! Stayed with the kids and they had a great time. Room was very clean and beds comfy. Great outdoor areas.

Great location within walking distance of town. We went at the end f the season so it was very quiet. Loved the firepits that were lit nightly. Beautiful views.

If your coming to Lake George to relax, this is the place. Its not like the chain hotels or motels with people crowded together all the time. The rooms are very clean and the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. There's plenty to do on the property, and your literally walking distance or few minutes driving from town and all the shops and restaurants and activities available on the lake. The views here are spectacular both day and at night especially when they have some fireworks. And after spending the day in town or out on the lake, being able to sit down on the beach at night enjoying the quiet sounds off the lake, with a fire pit going makes it feel like your own private beach. We'll be back for sure.

We would come back here again! The view blew me away and was the best part about the resort. Picky with my hotels and I still enjoyed our stay here but everything was rarely average. They did not allow us to check in early but we were still allowed to enjoy the pool before check in. Our AC in our room was bumpin which felt great, and the bed was actually very comfortable. It could use a tad of an update but was generally all we needed for a comfortable stay. The parking near our room was a little tight but we never had trouble finding a spot. The food at the cafe was typical fare that you would expect.

We loved Scotty's and will be returning. The amenities here are amazing and fun for all. I do think the rooms need some updating, especially the carpet. It is pretty pricey for the type of room that you get but for us, we don't spend a lot of time in the room and it is worth it to have the nicer amenities.

Amazing resort right on the shores of Lake George! I impulsively decide to bring my wife and 5 year old twins along on a business trip and booked this resort very last minute and we could not have been happier with our decision. The kids had a blast playing on the playground and the beach and even using the pool as cool as it was this late in the season.
